American Samoa (Samoan: Amerika Sāmoa) is an unincorporated territory of the United States located in the South Pacific Ocean.
The Federated States of Micronesia abbreviated FSM and also known as Micronesia is an independent republic associated with the United States. It consists of four states; from west to east, Yap, Chuuk, Pohnpei and Kosrae-that are spread across the Western Pacific Ocean. The total land area is 271 square miles. As of April 2025 the population of FSM is approximately 113,000 people.
